The curse of the Dragons.

This Saturday the Warriors play the Dragons. If you are in a tipping contest, then I suggest you don't tip the Warriors.

The Dragons and Warriors have played 22 times with the Warriors only winning 4. But the away record is worse, they have played 11 games and won just 1. That game was in 2003 11 years ago.

Coach McFadden has made some more changes, he doesn't seem to be afraid to make the big calls, So heres to hopping that the Warriors will get away win number 2 this weekend, but the statistics say not much chance.

Go the Warriors!

Close but still not a win!

The Warriors have give a glint of hope for the season with a very close loss to the Bulldogs at Eden Park. But in the end it was there own mistakes that cost them the win. If they can continue to work on that area of there game then they are in with a chance of making the top 8.

However if they don't sort it out soon they will be fighting with the Sharks to avoid the wooden spoon.

I was there and the crowd was great and really got behind the Warriors. But it looks like the Eden Park curse continues for another few weeks until the Warriors take on the Raiders there in the last game at the venue for 2014.

It appears to me that having Thomas Leuluai at standoff his made a difference to the attack. They did score 4 tries to 3 against the Bulldogs, but the difference was the goal kicking with Shaun Johnson only kicking 2 from 4. If Shaun had got those kicks it could have been a 24 to 21 score to the Warriors.

The Warriors face a tough game this weekend away against the Dragons.
